Shipping your package

Orders are generally dispatched within 2 days of receipt of payment. They are shipped via UPS or DHL EXPRESS depending on your location and available shipping methods, with a tracking number, and can be signed for upon receipt. Once your order has been shipped, we send you a link to track your package online. Carrier delivery times are given as an indication only. LES FINES LAMES cannot be held responsible for longer delays.

Shipping costs include preparation, packaging and postage. Preparation costs are fixed, while shipping costs vary according to the total weight of the package.

We recommend that you group your items in one order. We cannot group two distinct orders placed separately, and shipping fees will apply to each of them. Your package will be dispatched at your own risk, but special care is taken to protect fragile objects.

Boxes are appropriately sized and your items are properly protected.

Applicable taxes

In the event of delivery outside the European Union, the user is informed that customs duties and other taxes may be payable. All our shipments are made using the DAP (Delivered At Place) incoterm, i.e. the recipient assumes payment of applicable duties and taxes. The necessary formalities and the payment of the above-mentioned duties and taxes are not the responsibility of the sender, and will in any case be borne by the recipient.

It is therefore the responsibility of the recipient to check all this information, as well as the possibility of importing the product, with the competent authorities of the country of delivery, before placing any order on the site.

Example 1: United Kingdom. Since Brexit, goods worth less than £39 are exempt from duties and taxes. However, goods worth between £40 and £135 are duty-free, but subject to 29% VAT for most goods. Finally, goods worth more than £135 will be subject to duty and VAT.

Example 2: United States of America. Packages with a declared value of less than $800 will generally clear customs free of charge. However, U.S. Customs always reserves the right to charge duties and taxes on any import, and will usually exercise this option if the import is of an unusual nature, or if important documents, such as an invoice, do not accompany the item. In all cases, it is the recipient's responsibility to contact their local customs office to clarify the situation and request a refund if they feel they have paid duties owed.

Delivery exceptions

We will cancel orders, refund customers and not deliver to the following countries: Russian Federation, Belarus, Ukraine, Iran, Afghanistan, Cuba.

We deliver to all other countries in the world, subject to the most recent update of the above list.

Product returns

Product returns are handled according to the terms and conditions defined in the General Terms and Conditions of Sale that you accept when you place an order on the LES FINES LAMES website.
